THE ARAB PARROT COLD GETS ILL
Monday, April 20th, 2009

What a long, strange weekend. The desert was degenerate and debaucherous. Now we’re back to reality. This track has been key in the adjustment process.
It’s a breakbeat version of the classic, “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Harlem Underground Band featuring a slick-with-it tenor sax solo by Willis Jackson.

We got some new molten lava level heat for ya just in time for the tornado of tumultuous good times in the desert this weekend.
The main man Franki Chan over at IHEARTCOMIX has had the exclusive download of possibly the greatest N.A.S.A. remix to hit the atmosphere for a minute and now it’s our turn to share it with ya.
For “Strange Enough” (Feat. Karen O, Fatlip and Ol’ Dirty Bastard), Sam n’ Ze commissioned the dudes of Designer Drugs to flip an already great track into a monstrous beast that will no doubt devour dance floors allsd over the world. Their remixes are always pure gold and this one is for sure another brick for the ever growing pyramid. ENJOY!

There’s no way I can not post this. I am, as you say, beside myself. Streetlab takes an unfuckwittable classic and gets all up in there with an electronic paint brush machine. Even going so far as to rock the Moroder Vocoder. So so so ill.
HALL & OATES – I CAN’T GO FOR THAT (STREETLAB MIX)

It’s been a long, long while since we first released the news back in January and now the time has finally come for your main homies N.A.S.A. to straight up house things at Coachella this Friday night!
They’ll be touching down on the Mojave Tent stage at 7:15 pm sharp while the sun sets and the buzzes peak; prepped, suited up and ready to bless the masses with a once in a lifetime aural/visual journey into super galactic madness.
The show will be chock full o’ surprises, extra special guests and sexy shooting space aliens so in no way should you miss out! You can still scoop up tickets HERE.

To help build the anticipation to an almost fever pitch, N.A.S.A. have been included in SPIN’s “20 Must Hear Artists From Coachella”.
They’ve got a quick lil’ bio and “Mayor” feat. Scarface, Ghostface Killah, The Cool Kids & DJ AM streaming on there as well. Check it out!

What’s Up? What’s Up?!? Here’s the latest & greatest rendition of the monthly DJ mix I rock for the homies over at FoundTrack.
This time around I went way back into the alt rock archives to spark up some nostalgia and give you something to crank loud, hard and fast this spring. Dig it!
