BASEMENT JAXX: ROOT CHEW
Time to take a lil’ trip back to the early part of the decade and revisit a modern classic.
Basement Jaxx’s 2001 effort, Rooty, built upon the big time success of their previous album, Remedy, with a whopping 5 major singles (2 of which I’ve included below) that set dance floors ablaze the world wide over.
Most impressive to me is the Jaxx’s consistently crazy album cover artwork (which I think they reached the zenith on with Rooty) and have continued the trend with their new album “Scars” that just hit the shelves in the U.K. and soon enough here in the U.S. Scoop that up and be sure to try and catch them on their current DJ set tour…
