N.A.S.A. have recently touched down in Australia all geared up and ready to rip the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival for the next few days.

Alongside musical upstarts and stalwarts such as The xx, Echo & The Bunnymen, Florence & The Machine, and Black Lips, the festival is shaping up to be massive.

After their festival jaunt, Sam n' Ze will be jetting back to the States for a few big time US gigs coming up in February and March (Mammoth ain't ready!).  Peep all the upcoming tour dates below...

Our super homie Sage Vaughn's latest, greatest, brightest and bestest will all be on display tomorrow night at the new Art Los Angeles Contemporary going down at the Pacific Design Center. "Art Los Angeles Contemporary is an international contemporary art fair held January 28-31, 2010 at the iconic Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. The fair presents 55 top international blue chip and emerging galleries from around the world, with a strong focus on Los Angeles galleries" Presented by the Kim Light Gallery, the opening reception cracks off at 8:30 pm so make sure you get in on the action.  Should be a great night with heaps and heaps of inspiring new art! "I'm Here" is the exciting new short film directed by our main man Spike Jonze featuring the music of Squeak E. Clean (with help from Nick Zinner and Aska).

It'll be premiering at Sundance this year which actually just started today and will be blowing minds in snow Park City, Utah for the next 10 days.

The movie is set in contemporary L.A., where life moves at a seemingly regular pace with the exception of a certain amount of robot residents who love among the population. A male robot librarian lives a solitary and methodical life — devoid of creativity, joy and passion – until he meets an adventurous and free spirited female robot.

N.A.S.A.'s "O Pato" Feat. Kool Kojak & DJ Babao is a dirty, funky, nasty, street-hopping affair and the video directed by Didiu Rio Branco keeps the party going with this hilarious visual interpretation of the track featuring an animated Sam & Ze getting down to business at a bar with all their fine feathered homies on the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Bahamadia had that butter flow.   Damn so smooth.  Both the tracks below are from her landmark album, Kollage, that dropped back in '96.
