Wassup yall?!

It’s been a minute, but I’ve been crazy finishing the record, doing remixes, flying all over the fucking world, and trying to finish this N.A.S.A. film.

I just got back last night from Brazil, where Ze and I DESTROYED the Nokia Trends festival in Sao Paulo. It was dope>> We had the full Cosmic Crew in Effect!

We put a dope Serato video set together, which we are doing for all of our N.A.S.A. shows lately…

Designed some dope new space monster costumes for the show…

Had the dopest breakdancers I’ve ever seen…

And basically just wrecked shop.

It was a dope show and a fun ass crowd>>

Bomb the Bass and Kid Sister opened up for us and our good homie Z-Trip closed out the night with a hot fire set as always>>

I don’t know if anyone else caught it, but last week on BET they were showing “Wu: The Story of the Wu-Tang Clan”.  Obviously, must see TV.  A great insight into the 36 chambers of madness.

As promised, it’s the entire story from early struggles & hustles out on Shaolin to complete world domination in the span of just a few years.  In between, there’s a whole bunch of sword swinging, Wallabees, broccoli, and ice cream.

Ol’ Dirty Bastard is no doubt the star of the show and live footage of him is crazy good.  You’re reminded of just how ill he was over and over.  Things get real sad, however, when the film starts focusing more on Rusty Jones towards the end; covering his prison time, subsequent release, and eventual death.

Last Saturday (11/15) he would have been the big 4-0, so I thought we’d celebrate the man with some vintage Big Baby A-Son Unique.

Otherwise, things have been crazy.> I just finished the Final Final song (I promise) for the N.A.S.A. record featuring Kanye, Santogold, and Lykke Li! It’s my favorite song on the record!

A day after mixing the song, i went str8 to mastering it with Big Bass Brian, and now, finally, WE ARE 100% DONE WITH THE RECORD AFTER ALMOST 6 FUCKING YEARS!!! I’m really proud of this record and can’t wait to get it out to the world!

Right now, i’m in Costa Rica on a surfing safari, so i’m going to sign off to get some sleep>
