Friday, February 19th, 2010
If you haven't heard by now, Gorillaz are back with a vengenance and are all set to destroy Coachella in a couple of months. Their lead single "Stylo" featuring Mos Def and living legend Bobby Womack has been spreading through the interscapes like the andromeda strain.
Since then there's been a stack of remixes going around and I'm thinking I like this one the best, especially since it taps into the beautiful mind of Moroder for its influence and epic length. A tip of the hat to the Death Metal Disco Scene!
CRAZY P GET THEIR REVENGE
Thursday, February 11th, 2010
The Revenge is burning hot right now and is fanning the flames with this amazing cover of the SOS Band classic "Just Be Good To Me" featuring the just as scalding vocal talents of Crazy P's Danielle Moore.
In fact, it becomes a full on Crazy Revenge Penis collabo when Crazy P musician/DJ/producer Ron Basejam decides to remix the cover. Madness!

Thursday, January 28th, 2010
Thanks to B.Cause's brilliant new mixtape "Playin' Kinda Ruff" which collects, mixes and chops up all of the late, great legendary sounds of the one and the only Roger Troutman, we've all been bugging out, going ape shit and acting a fool ever since the first listen.
This guy knew no bounds with the talk box magic and his sounds were so crisp and so fucking funky. G'damn!
Peep the interview above and some of the tracks you might not be as familiar with as the well known classics below. Oh and make sure you download the B.Cause mix. So so necessary!
TAKE 6 SPREAD MORE LOVE
Friday, November 13th, 2009
The dudes in Take 6 were more than blowing minds in the 90's, they were harmonizing hearts into submission! The above clips leaves no doubt that they were a force of nature. Beleeee Dat.
For your party record fridays pleasure, DJ Shepdog takes their amazing vocals and throws it on top of the break from Ike & Tina's "Cussin', Cryin' & Carryin' On". Pure Gold I tell you!
