I don’t know if anyone else caught it, but last week on BET they were showing “Wu: The Story of the Wu-Tang Clan”.  Obviously, must see TV.  A great insight into the 36 chambers of madness.

As promised, it’s the entire story from early struggles & hustles out on Shaolin to complete world domination in the span of just a few years.  In between, there’s a whole bunch of sword swinging, Wallabees, broccoli, and ice cream.

Ol’ Dirty Bastard is no doubt the star of the show and live footage of him is crazy good.  You’re reminded of just how ill he was over and over.  Things get real sad, however, when the film starts focusing more on Rusty Jones towards the end; covering his prison time, subsequent release, and eventual death.

Last Saturday (11/15) he would have been the big 4-0, so I thought we’d celebrate the man with some vintage Big Baby A-Son Unique.
